This weeks thought is inspired by the song "MY PRAISE IS A WEAPON" by Eddie James. Such a powerful, and anoited song! The first time I heard the words "MY PRAISE IS A WEAPON" it was like a light bulb went off . . . YEAH! PRAISE IS A WEAPON! There is no experience on earth like Praising God . . . but it's not just a feeling, an emotion, an experience, it's a WEAPON! And let me tell you there is POWER in PRAISE! The song says "No weapon formed against me by the enemy shall prosper" which is found in Isaiah 54:17 . . . don't take my word for it go look it up - and if that doesn't make you wanna give a loud Holla . . . I don't know what will! It's time we begin to PRAISE and PRAISE and when we've done everything else we know to do . . . PRAISE! Let me tell you . . . Your Praise is a weapon - a declaration that our God is King and He can do anything! PRAISE will give you the victory everytime and when you realize that greater is HE who is on the inside of you that he that is in the world . . . your gonna PRAISE! Let's Stop on the Devil and let's lift JESUS name! Let's PRAISE! When you enter into the house of God Sunday . . . come to PRAISE, when you wake up Monday morning to go to work - PRAISE, on Tuesday when your laughed at and made fun of - PRAISE, if on Wednesday you don't know how you are gonna pay your bills - PRAISE, Thursday when everything and everyone is getting on your nerves - PRAISE, Friday on your way home you get stuck in traffic, what a wonderful time to PRAISE, then when you make it to Saturday PRAISE God you made it through another week! I don't know what you choose to do . . . but for me . . . My weapon is PRAISE, for the rest of my days!!!!!

How many of you have seen the famous Uncle Sam Poster with the words "I WANT YOU FOR U.S. ARMY"? Sure, we all have seen it, it's a stable of history, it was used for recruiting soilders in both WWI as well as WWII. Something about it always sticks out at you right . . . yeah, that's it . . . the man, the stern man, Uncle Sam, he's always pointing right at you, as if he was really looking at YOU! The U.S. Army wants YOU, they need you to fight, to defend your country! I have a good friend who serves our country, I have had several family members fight for my freedom, there are people from our church and our community who defend this great land. I have a high respect for our military. Now, let's take this to a spiritual level . . . imagine with me if you will . . . one giant finger pointing right at you . . . God's finger, pointing directly at YOU - now imagine with me, big letters that read, "I WANT YOU!" I want us to really think about this. All of us "Christians" talk about how we are at WAR with Satan, and how the Pastor, or the Praise Leader, or the Televangelist, or some great Spiritual Leader needs to do something, but God wants YOU! The time is now! He's pointing at YOU, He's called YOU, He's chosen YOU, He wants to use YOU! So I am asking you one more question, Will You Enlist? I'm not asking if your saved or if you know who Jesus is, I am asking Will YOU Fight? Will you defend your faith? Will you go the extra mile? Will you do what He has called YOU to do?
